This is a short version of an even longer song called "A Nihilistic Vision of Dystopia." The lyrics are influenced by Scott R. Bakker's Prince of Nothing series.

The song features 3 characters and I was originally going to change the timbre of my voice for each character but then I realised that would sound stupid and no one cares about lyrics anyway.

The prophets eyes bestowed on me

Eschatological rewards for beating plow shears into swords
The Earth groans under heathen reign and ever yearns for God's domain

The alliance made but the truce was sworn in vein

Amongst the mangled bodies I see God's Face
Amidst their cacophonous screams I hear angels sing
